I heart birthdays & my weirdness

You know those days where you just can't help but smile? Monday was that day for me. It might of had something to do with the fact it was my birthday. I love birthdays. Growing up my family always made them a big deal; Balloons, fancy dinners, princess crowns, you name it.  I was going to make a blog post on my birthday. However, I think mentioning it's your birthday to someone is the most awkward thing. I don't know why? This is the only logic I can come up with:  I don't mind when attention is on me, but I certainly don't thrive off of it.

For example: one of my best friends, Annie. She is into acting, singing, dancing anything that has to do with a crowd. Annie not only doesn't mind attention, she thrives off of it. That being said in the uttermost respect and non-negative way. For example: the more people staring at her on a stage the better. She becomes energized by it. Now, Me? that freaks me out. I consider myself outgoing, but attention, that's a different story.

Alright, enough about my illogical-logic (I just love double negatives)... I was so humbled by all the love and birthday texts I received from all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm so blessed to have great people in my life to encourage and lift me up in the good times and the bad times. Thanks to everyone that made my day great!

Cheers to a year of loving, inspiring and growing!

xoxo
